Love Isn't Always Easy: A Lesbian Romance (The Jersey Girls Book 3) Lydia Rose has a way with how her words flow in the stories she tells. I truly love reading her stories repeatedly. I feel that I have made new friends in the books I read of hers. The way she describes the location, the women and how the characters interact with such raw emotion, that I can easily relate too. The journey she takes us on with these two women: meeting someone, falling in love and making love the first time is told with a delicateness to it, but with the eagerness of how it feels at the beginning of a relationship when that attraction is so strong it can take over you in a second. This story of discovery and love is beautifully told, and I love how the characters meet, but each have their own journey within the story of finding love. Jane is a chef and store owner, who has never made time to find someone to share her life with due to her work-driven ethic. Erin is a police officer who has had her share of women, but she has been closed off from letting herself be hurt again. But, who would have thought that one-night after an accident, could change their lives forever. As you follow these beautiful women, you understand that Love Isn't Always Easy.
Again, Lydia has done it once more, she has written a beautiful story full of love, some rejection and is a roller coaster of emotions. I love the story of Erin and Jane. Lydia allows her readers to follow along on this journey with these characters and their ups and downs in their relationship. I love how you get a glimpse in this book at past characters and see where and how their journey has continued and crosses with Erin and Jane. I can’t wait for the next installment and see the next journey Erin and Jane will take us on. I enjoyed that the love these women have is something I can relate too, and it is not as if you can’t find this kind of love, Lydia writes about real attainable love and that each one of us can find it when we least expect it. Please feel free to check out the books by Lydia Rose on Amazon.com, you wont be disappointed.
