Love and a Hollywood scandal... by Breanna Hughes

Breanna Hughes is an author that was recommended to me. In exchange for an honest review, I was asked to review and received a copy of Stunted. I must be honest, my eyes focused on the sexy red motorcycle almost immediately. Also, who doesn’t find a woman on a bike sexy as hell. Breanna wrote a beautiful story surrounded by a scandal. I was drawn into the story right away. I enjoyed the way Breanna almost immediately has the two women meet and you can almost feel the chemistry right away. This story has everything blackmail, extortion, sex and love. Let’s take a ride and meet Jessie Knight and Chase Elliott as we weave our way through the Hollywood scandal to find love.

Jessie Knight is a professional stunt-woman at the young age of twenty-six. She has had her heart broken and isn’t looking for love. She has one rule she follows, which is to not date any actresses or any woman she works with. Up until this movie set, she has followed that rule. However, upon the set of ‘Best of Enemies”, Jessie meets Elliot Chase in passing. Jessie finds herself strongly attracted to Elliot but isn’t sure why. Jessie finds Elliot to be a beautiful woman. She notices that Elliot has the bluest eyes she has ever seen. Jessie knew she was in trouble, since she was almost ready to break her rule for Elliot Chase.

Elliot Chase is beautiful young actress who happens to be in the closet. She is starring in her first action movie. She is currently single and recently noticed how lonely her life is without love in it. Only her closest friends know how she feels about women. On the set of her new movie, she takes notice of one of the stunt-women. She finds this woman so sexy as she is watching her perform a stunt. She is for some reason immediately drawn to her and wants to get to know her. She can’t stop thinking about this woman. Elliot is introduced to Jessie by her stunt double Kat. Elliott realizes that Jessie is the most beautiful woman she has ever met. Elliot isn’t looking for a relationship, but after meeting Jessie, she wouldn’t turn down the chance to date Jessie.

From that first kiss in the trailer you could see the undeniable chemistry between these two women. The desert wasn’t the only thing heating up (hehehe). I thought they were perfect together, I loved how they had a routine as their relationship progressed. Jessie and Elliot couldn’t keep their hands off each other. There was just so much love between them. I thought the night they spent together was done so well, you could feel the emotions they were feeling when they were together. It wasn’t just the feelings, but the raw emotions they were feeling. There were a few tense moments in this book that has me on the edge of my seat. I have to say, they were put through the ultimate test, before they even got started. They had the best night of their life and by morning its tainted.

I would recommend everyone read this book. It was a fun read, that I couldn’t put down once I started it.
